DSSSB Exam

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is responsible for conducting the recruitment exams for various posts under several departments of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCT of Delhi). DSSSB recruitment exams are conducted every year to fill vacancies for the posts of PGT, TGT, Assistant Teacher (Primary), Assistant Teacher (Nursery), Counselor, Jr. Secretariat Assistant (LDC), Head Clerk, Patwari, JE, AE, and others. The board announces various vacancies every year for different posts through the release of official notification. Interested candidates can submit their applications for a particular post after ensuring that they fulfil the DSSSB eligibility criteria.

The DSSSB Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)  exam will be held to hire eligible and qualified candidates as teachers for different subjects in schools. On clearing the DSSSB TGT  written exam, candidates will be called for document verification. Nationality Criteria

The candidate needs to be a citizen of India. Candidates must have valid documents like a passport, Aadhar Card, or Voter ID to prove their Indian citizenship.

  • Candidates must have Matriculation or equivalent from the recognized Board.
  • Candidates must Diploma minimum of 2 years of regular duration in the relevant trade awarded by the State Board of Technical Education/recognized University or equivalent
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in a relevant field or equivalent.

DSSSB recruitment is conducted in three stages. Two stages of written test followed by a skill test wherever applicable based on the post applied by the candidate.

Tier 1: Tier 1 is an objective-type written test on subjects such as Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, Hindi Language & Comprehension, and English Language & Comprehension.

Tier 2: Tier 2 consists of two Parts itself.

  • 1st Part consists of Objective-type questions based on a similar Tier 1 pattern.
  • 2nd Part consists of a descriptive test on the subjects chosen by the candidates based on their preference of posts.

Skill Test : Post the Tier 1 & Tier 2 there is a skill test for the candidates also known as (the endurance test) consisting of an interview round conducted keeping in mind the requirements of the job.
